Fall Registration

Finally Fall Registration is here. I am really excited to be holding two classes next year. For those who are not familiar with me. I have always had a desire to be a school teacher. So I started college taking the courses necessary for this degree then went into pharmacy assistance then motherhood. I have 8 years experience in early childhood education and have a strong love for these little children. I have been running my own preschool for 3 years and now that my kids are getting older I am excited to be able to focus on this career.

To register you will need to come and get an Information Form fill it out and pay the registration fee then you are set. I want to give those currently in my class first choice to the classes. Then on April 1st I will open up the registration to those who have verbally-registered with me. Then on April 7th I will open it up to those who have not contacted me so far. Here is the low down for next years courses. There will be two classes to choose from one will be held on Monday and Wednesday from 10-12. The next will be held on Tuesday and Thursday from 10-12. There is a $40 non-refundable registration fee which includes supply expenses and it will secure your spot in the class you sign up for. The monthly tuition will be $55 due at the first of the month. The only other fees there will be is a $20 field-trip fee due the first week of school and then at the end of the year there will be a yearbook & video that you will have the option to purchase. Each class will have 10 students and I have 1 part-time helper for each of the classes.

I would like to thank you for the incredible interest many of you have shown toward my preschool and look forward to getting to know you better. If you have any further questions then please don't hesitate to call Kristi@756-6879.

Spring Time

So today Ms. Kristi got spring fever and changed the subject from clouds to spring time. We had a great time as we went on a spring hunt. We went outside and looked for signs of spring. Then we sang the spring song that goes like this:
Hello Springtime, Hello Springtime, Hello Springtime, We're glad springtime is here.
Then we replaced the springtime with other signs of spring like greengrass, tulips, birds and so on. It was fun wasn't it kiddos!

Easter Party

First I must apologize for missing school last week. I hope all you cute kids can forgive me. However the Easter Party was a smashing hit today as we colored easter eggs, then we painted a sun catcher and then hit the park for a great easter egg hunt. Thank you parents for helping with the eggs and Tara for hiding the eggs. We had a great time celebrating a wonderful holiday. Love you kiddos more then you know. Ms. Kristi

St. Patricks Day

Today we had a great time as we talked about Leprecans and rainbows. We learned a song to the tune of Jingle bells that goes like this.
Leprechaun, Leprechaun,
Oh, where can you be?
Come a little closer now,
Don’t be afraid of me.
Leprechaun, Leprechaun,
You bring luck my way.
I’d really like to see you
On this St. Patrick’s Day

Kite Flying

My Kite
My kite is up so high.
My kite is up so high.
Oh my, just watch it fly.
My kite is up so high.

My kite is falling down.
My kite is falling down.
Oh no, it’s down so low.
My kite is falling down.

The wind has caught my kite.
The wind has caught my kite.
What fun, I’m on the run.
The wind has caught my kite.

My kite is up so high.
My kite is up so high.
Oh my, just watch it fly.
My kite is up so high.

Sing to the tune of
The Farmer in the Dell

Johnny has traveled so far.

Shapes All Around

Today we learned alot about shapes. We learned that there are shapes all around us in this world. We learned that we can eat all different kinds of shapes and they can taste as yummy as rice krispie treats. We then made our own shapes from our bodies. If you look real close in this photo you will see a circle within a circle. Then we made felt story boards so that we can see how putting different shapes together we can make almost anything.
